The matchbox puzzle, which was invented by Oscar van Deventer, is very easy to make, so you must try this one. All you need are five identical matchboxes and strong glue. The length ratio of the boxes must be 3:2:1. Glue the boxes together as shown in the example. When dry, try to put the five pieces together in such a way that all of the boxes are closed.
The boxes can be placed together in three different ways. As the boxes are made of cardboard, solutions which involve twisting them are forbidden.
