You have a
strip of paper that is one unit wide. The paper is dark violet on one side and light
violet on the other. What is the shortest continuous strip of paper that you need in
order to create a model paper cube that is completely light violet on all six sides (i.e.,
there is no dark violet showing)? |
| The solution is less than 8 units long, and there is no cutting or re-coloring allowed. If I were to use two pieces it would be possible with 6 units, but I want to do it in one piece. | |
