Digi-mon-sters

There is a children's animated cartoon called "Digimon", short for
"Digital Monsters".  In the cartoon children meet monsters that
each have a name that ends in "mon".  Some common and
less common English words have been taken that also
end in "mon".  See if you can find which English
word or name corresponds to each description.
